ServSwitch DTX™

The ServSwitch™ DTX gives you full desktop extension - digital (DVI) and analogue (VGA) Video, stereo audio, keyboard, mouse plus USB 2.0 media - without any of the distance limitations or connectivity requirements of a traditional CATx or fibre extender.

The DTX is composed the local computer node and the remote user node. But instead of a point-to-point cable, the DTX transmits over IP at Gigabit speed allowing you a mix of both copper and fibre cable! It delivers CD-quality audio and clean, sharp 24-bit colour video at 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz and there is no need of any software installation. ServSwitch DTX offers the ideal solution to control all you back-rack computers without any impact to you post production operations.

As long as you have an IP link between your computer and KVM user station, the DTX will supply the connectivity you need.

Just like a traditional KVM extender, the DTX is composed of two elements: the local computer node and the remote user node. But instead of a point-to-point cable providing the connectivity medium, the DTX transmits over IP. That means you can have a mix of both copper and fibre cable! It also accommodates routing/switching connections.

Plus, you won't need to compromise on video or audio quality. The DTX delivers CD-quality audio and clean, sharp 24-bit colour video at 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz. And the 100/1000 network connection on each unit ensures that you'll make the most of the bandwidth available. You don't have to install any software on the target device and, unlike traditional KVM over IP products, no computer is needed to provide connectivity at the desktop side.
