Sales Manager Belgium/Luxembourg

Black Box Network Services Belgium is a small dynamic organization with around 20 employees, part of an international US-headquartered company. We are situated in Zaventem.

Want to join us as Sales Manager Belgium/Luxembourg?

In this role, you will be asked to:

  • Properly manage and develop your team. Identify top talents and proactively manage performance. Provide feedback and performance improvement plans as required. Address potential issues and conflicts in a timely manner with clear directions given for improvement.
  • Define, further develop and implement a Go to market strategy in Belgium/Luxemburg.
  • Identify in those areas potential Channel Partners/Distributors, Value added resellers, qualifying, recruiting & facilitate them.
  • Experience in the indirect sales is highly desirable.
  • Implement a given Channel strategy and policy, competency mapping including compliance & Performance Metrics and specific incentive programs.
  • Further develop and grow our project and solution business in control room and conf/class room ecosystems across multiple industries and verticals.
  • Achieve and exceed Order and Revenue Target as well as Gross profit for the area of responsibility under the given cost umbrella.
  • Ensure a constant flow of information between your region and your report to enabling accurate sales forecast sales and growth opportunities within designated territory, using e.g. Salesforce and other applications. Set up a proper reporting system to manage performance and maintain visibility across the region and on an ongoing base.
  • Review on a regular base large or strategic deals and involve yourself directly as required.
  • Regular customer meetings with top customers of your area of responsibility.
  • Understand customer requirements and industrial trends across the region.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor activities and developments and ensure that this information is collected and made available.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, strategic communication with System Integrator’s & Reseller’s and proactively resolve conflicts.
  • Proper, disciplined and accurate forecast planning on a monthly base.
  • Work proactively with your colleagues and be a proactive member of the EMEA Management team

Is this your profile?

  • Technical qualification in the discipline of Engineering, Physics or IT and/ or a Business Degree or experience in a similar function.
  • Thorough knowledge of technical products, with emphasis on data communication and infrastructure, and ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value propositions.
  • Large network and interesting contacts within the IT community and especially in the industry, broadcasting & retail sectors.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience and a track record as a Channel Manager or having sales experience that included introducing & working with channel partners.
  • Management Experience.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of Office-tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Salesforce Tool.
  • Able to work autonomously and within deadlines.
  • Convincing personality, acquainted with closing techniques and major account management.
  • Result-oriented.
  • Go-getter who is not quickly discouraged.
  • Sound knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
